Our market is NOT operating in 2024.

The Alexandra Timber Tramway and Museum has operated the Alexandra Market for 18 years and has brought countless visitors to the region.  Through good times and bad, the market has become widely known for its pleasant rural setting and choice of goods thanks to the volunteers in our organising Committee.

As a result of time pressures and museum priorities the market has been suspended from January 2024.  The Timber Tramway and Museum will continue to focus on the museum and tourist railway operations and it is hoped a rejuvenated market will return in 2025.  The last market was held on Saturday 9 December 2023.

The organisers wish to thank the many sellers who have supported the market over that time, the great work commitment from volunteers and the community for their patronage.
