By becoming a member you elevate your support and involvement in our unique tourist railway and museum.

The day visitor contributes financially and takes away an experience but may never be seen here again. In contrast, as a member, you will have a continuing relationship with ATTM and this is as important to our operation as we hope it is to you.

Our members form the core of our volunteer force and, while you don’t have to be a member to be a volunteer, only members have a voice in our governance by electing the Committee of Management and voting at General Meetings.

Our member-only magazine Timberline will keep you up to date with what has happened and what is planned. It also contains historical information about exhibits and the local timber industry. With over 150 issues already, this has developed into a spectacular resource.

We periodically hold member events, including the chance to go behind the scenes and learn more about our heritage and operation. As we grow, we will run these more often.

As a member you are encouraged to use the picnic facilities on site – our recently upgraded sheltered barbecue and table setting adjacent to the Memorial Garden and with a perfect view of the railway.
