Volunteers are crucial to our operations and there are a wide variety of volunteering opportunities at the ATTM.  It doesn’t necessarily mean you have to drive a train, but by joining our volunteer base, you will be a primary contributor towards the preservation of Victoria’s industrial railway heritage.  In doing so, you will learn new skills and enjoy the social involvement with other members and volunteers.  While we particularly need technically trained volunteers, we have plenty of room for unskilled assistance on running days and to help with maintenance of our grounds and gardens.

Training is available for all of the necessary jobs within the Tramway.  If you require further information, contact the ATTM via email, or give us a call.

Membership of the Alexandra Timber Tramway enables you to enter the first stage of your involvement with the ATTM.  Some of the benefits of becoming a member include receiving the members magazine, “Timberline”, every second month, free use of the picnic area for family functions and the chance to become involved in an exciting and growing enterprise!
